Hi I’m Krista
My name is Krista Young, I have been a practicing RMT for over 11 years. I am a Junction Triangle resident and mother of two. I love my neighbourhood and am thrilled to be continuing my work from my home-based clinic right here in the JT.
My focus is on the prevention of repetitive strain and postural issues. I work with my clients to help increase their flexibility and stability; to improve overall wellbeing as well as correcting muscle dysfunction to help optimize movement.
I am experienced in treating overuse injuries, plantar fasciitis, piriformis syndrome, tension headaches, tendonitis, TMJ dysfunction, thoracic outlet syndrome, sports related injuries, post-concussion syndrome and much more.
I work with clients of all ages. I offer prenatal and postpartum treatments as well as intra oral massage for TMJ dysfunction.
I am a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario and am in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Fees
Direct Billing available
45 minute treatment – $95
60 minute treatment – $120
75 minute treatment – $145
90 minute treatment – $170
* All prices include HST
Cancellation Policy – 24 Hours is required for cancellation. Late cancellations are subject to a fee of 50% of the treatment fee. No shows are subject to a 100% fee charge.

Railpath Massage Therapy is a home-based practice with a dedicated clinic space and a separate entrance.
Note that there are stairs to enter the clinic. The treatment room is equipped with an electric massage table with adjustable height, a table warmer, and an air purifier.
I keep a supply of child toys and a baby chair for those who do not have childcare and would like to bring their kids along.
FAQs
Do I need a doctor's referral for treatment?
Referrals from your primary care provider are not necessary. However, some insurance providers do require a prescription or medical note for massage therapy. Please review your coverage information prior to booking an appointment.
What are my payment options?
I accept payment by debit, VISA, Mastercard, and cash. A receipt is provided via email at the end of each treatment.
You may also use your receipts towards your tax return as a medical expense.
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes, I offer direct billing, depending on your insurance provider. Please visit the main page for a complete list of all participating insurers.
If your insurer is listed, please provide your benefit information online when booking or at your first visit. Your claim will be submitted, but I cannot guarantee that your claim will be approved.
Please be prepared to provide payment for your treatment.

Do you sell gift certificates?
I have sensitive skin/allergies. What type of lotion do you use?
I use a seed-oil based gel that is hypoallergenic and unscented. I also have Holly oil available which is great for eczema and sensitive skin. If you have any severe or contact allergies, please let me know in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are sick, please contact me to reschedule your appointment. Late fees do not apply if you are unwell.
